Tameside Women’s Community Cycling Group TWCCG offers learn-to-ride sessions, led rides and runs the Tameside Bike Library. We aim to help overcome cultural and social barriers to cycling.

For some people getting on a bike and learning to ride for the first time is on their It’s something that we hear a lot!

But what if you have a friendly cycling group right on your own doorstep offering FREE LEARN TO RIDE LESSONS a park right near your house, no traffic, bikes and helmets provided as well…AND…all qualified female cycling instructors to support you from the beginning and at your happy pace, would you still think this is too good to be true???

Why don’t you come along this Sunday and have a go and see how really good it is to get in the saddle, if it’s your first time brilliant! If it’s been a while, even better, we’ll be happy to see you all!

This Sunday we were privileged to have supported these wonderful women and girls at our first as part of Cycling UK North West England campaign for helping more women and girls in discover the benefits of cycling!

We have bikes and helmets available to borrow free of charge, our female instructors are fully qualified and welcoming. Light refreshments and snacks available.
