Ashton to Oldham Greenway is a haven for introducing our cycling ladies and girls to a scenic traffic -free ride with lots of greenery and many wonderful nature along the way.

This Sunday we were privileged to have supported these wonderful women and girls at our first as part of Cycling UK North West England campaign for helping more women and girls in discover the benefits of cycling!

We have bikes and helmets available to borrow free of charge, our female instructors are fully qualified and welcoming. Light refreshments and snacks available.

And…here we go! We’re hosting a FREE Learn to Ride and cycling confidence event this Sunday 14 June as part of Cycling UK 202, and we’d love to see you there!

Bikes and helmets are all provided free of charge, all qualified female cycling instructors.

Meet us at Georgie Porgies Café 9am at King George V Playing Fields.

Just the two of us out on a gentle bike ride on a sunny Saturday afternoon on Ashton Greenway towards Park Bridge, followed by a celebratory ice cream at Georgie Porgies! We are introducing beginners rides for women in and around King George V Playing Fields, Ashton-under-Lyne. Bring your own bike and helmet, we have a bike pump available and can provide free bike health checks pre-ride.

Saddleworth Women's Morris & Clog provided the wonderful ambience to welcome the return of longer days.
