At Da Base we provide a warm, fun and friendly environment. Our staff are approachable and have a genuine interest in the lives of young people. Our team consists of individuals who have a wide range of skills which broadens the service we are able to provide the young people. This includes music production & technology, personal development & life skills, mentoring and encouraging entrepreneurship.

🎵 INTRODUCING: da BASE ENGAGE! 🚀

We are incredibly excited to launch a BRAND-NEW, 6-week creative project funded by

da BASE ENGAGE offers fully funded, free spaces designed specifically to give creative opportunities to young people who might not otherwise have access to music and video production. If you want to drop your own tracks, learn music production, learn how to shoot and edit video, or start a podcast, this is your moment!

No experience or expensive gear needed—we provide it all. 🙌

* 🤝 Collaborate & Showcase your work

🗓️ SESSIONS BY AGE GROUP:

🎬 Term 5 is officially WRAPPED! 🎬
And wow, what an absolutely incredible term it has been at Da Base! 🙌 Our amazing young people are now putting the final touches on their projects and we could not be prouder of the hard work and creativity they’ve poured into everything.

Looking ahead, Term 6 is going to be absolutely massive. It’s officially Award Show Season! 🏆✨
We’ll be switching gears to focus on prepping for the big day, alongside filming brand-new music videos for everyone. It is going to be incredibly busy, but we are so ready for it!

From mastering the gear to hitting those performance marks in the tunnel, these guys absolutely crushed it. It’s been incredible to see such local talent come alive behind and in front of the lens.

What a week at Da Base! 🎓✨
We are officially wrapping up this week with a massive celebration: Robert has officially completed his Silver Arts Award! 🏆 From starting his Bronze with us to tackling the challenges of the Silver level, it has been an absolute joy to watch his creative journey.
Robert is heading back to the Ivory Coast for a few months before returning to the U.K. for his studies and we couldn’t be prouder of the foundation he’s built here. The Music Club is going to miss him, but we’re so excited for his next chapter!

Big news! 🎉

We’re extremely excited to share that Da Base Music Centre is now funded by !

This support will help us reach more young people who face barriers to accessing music opportunities, while continuing to grow our regular mentoring, workshops and after school music programmes.

Through this partnership, we’ll create even more spaces for young people express themselves, build confidence and unlock their creativity through music.

Again, a big thank you to Youth Music for believing in our mission and helping us break down barriers through creativity. We’re just getting started!
