❓What is our Musician's Night?
📢An opportunity for gigging musicians to share the music they want to play. So often, musicians have to select songs based on the audience they will have, rarely getting to play their originals or songs they love that are lesser-known. Cactus Rooms provides that opportunity, with an attentive and supportive audience.

❓Can musicians just turn up on the night?
📢No, but for a very good reason... We provide set times of 5 songs (25 mins max), which means we are limited in the number of slots per evening. Also, the setting is best suited to acoustic sets; there is no drum set. So we want to make sure that musicians are suitable for the setting, and that we have everything needed for your connection to the PA and a successful evening for you.

Frances Yonge

Genre: Pop, Folk, Acoustic, Classical

Frances Yonge is a singer-songwriter/pianist from Tenterden who writes piano based songs.

Her style derives from a pianistic background in classical, jazz and pop, and her songwriting has been described as heartfelt, nuanced and ethereal.

Frances has produced many albums from her home in Tenterden, most recently 'Precious', a sleep song...'escapism in its purest form' (Mesmerised Magazine).

Frances also wrote music for 'No longer lost', setting Natalie Farrell's poetry to music, and 'Indigo' in 2025.

Cassius West is a British singer-songwriter from Maidstone, Kent. He delivers impressive guitar-driven performances, flowing seamlessly between indie, pop, rock and folk. He has a distinct sound characterised by his intricate finger-style, versatile rhythm and soft vocals, reminiscent of Elliott Smith and John Mayer.
