I have always loved arts and crafts! As a little girl, I loved to draw and as I got older I tried to have at least one creative and crafty project a year around my day job (such as painting pumpkins, découpaging advent calendars, making Christmas stockings and many more!). Whilst heavily pregnant and nesting during lockdown, I turned to craft to keep me relaxed and to come up with something special and unique for my little one's nursery. I decided to try my hand at punch needle embroidery and bought a kit and away I went. Before long, I was hooked and even after Leo's arrival, I found myself sketching out designs and making more hoops during nap times. Not content with confining myself to creating characters for his safari-themed nursery, I carried on creating more designs and started making hoops for friends and family and then decided to set up Flossie & Bean. You may be wondering where the name Flossie & Bean comes from, well... "Flossie" is my husband's nickname for me and from the moment we saw Leo on our first scan, we have called him "our little bean"! I hope that my creations bring a little bit of joy to those who receive them. Thank you for reading!

Officially obsessed with adventure play parks. 😂

This was our 5th one and the quality and design is just as brilliant as the others we’ve visited.

The boys were particularly excited about the little Winston train from Blenheim Palace (where we’d visited the car show) down to the Walled Garden area 🚂

Then came the water play, slides and zip wires… basically everything required for two very happy, very tired boys. 😂

I’m now on a mission to visit ALL the Capco adventure playgrounds…. Which ones should we add to our list? 👇🏼

A little throwback to last weekend before the chaos of this week 🫠

For Gary’s birthday, I bought us tickets to Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace. He’s a big car fan, so it seemed like the perfect birthday treat… except both sets of grandparents were away, meaning the boys had to come too 😂

After the last car show we took them to was a bit of a disaster, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to it 🙈

But we actually all had a brilliant day 🙌

We got to dress up, Gary got to ogle at ridiculously expensive cars, I got to ogle at ridiculously expensive jewellery 💎 and the boys got to visit the adventure play park as a reward for behaving themselves!

A win all round 👌

I’ll share a separate reel of the adventure play park because that definitely deserves its own post!
