Something exciting is happening at The Red Lion at Kniveton.

We’ve been chatting with some of our newer customers, and lots of them have said the same thing — they’ve driven past us for years but never popped in… so we thought it was time to change that!

We’re giving the front of the pub a bold new look.

We’re thrilled to be teaming up with our Spanish friend and incredibly talented graffiti artist, Tonto de Abril, who will be starting work on our brand-new mural this week. If the weather stays kind, it should be finished by the end of the Bank Holiday weekend — and we can’t wait for you to see it!

We’ll be open as usual throughout, so why not stop by, grab a drink, and watch the artwork come to life? (There may be some temporary limits on parking while work is underway.)

As the majority of you realised, this was posted on April the first (Tonto de Abril is a loose translation of April Fool) - however the truth is we will be open over the Easter weekend including the Bank Holiday Monday, so whether you just want to grab a quick pint or book a table for Sunday Lunch you'll be most welcome.

The Sunday17th August session is cancelled. Too many people on hols.
The next Sunday session will be on 21st Sept.
The Monday evening session on 25th August is still happening though.
