NEW CHARACTERS INCOMING! Watch this space as this is just the beginning.
There are so many chances to help in loads of ways and this award gives me the chance to spread that word and help people find opportunities.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think performing, singing and character acting would mean so much to my charities let alone my town. I have been allowed to sing for bereaved families, spend time with critically ill children as characters and been swimming with them as a “real life” mermaid. I am even Mrs Claus. I’ve made tea and washed up and cooked pizzas along with making little wishes come true and I am far from alone. LOADS of people secretly squirrel away giving their time and making a difference. Staff, families and volunteers make huge differences.
