I finally came out of retirement to stickle at the East of England English Country Backswording Championship. Jed Pascoe kindly invited me to be a Stickler and I have to say it was most enjoyable to throw my hat into the ring once again, if not as an Old Gamester but a Stickler.

The AOBC are gearing up for Tewkesbury Medieval festival. So looking forward to heading back for the first time since Covid stopped the world in its tracks. We couldn't make last year but this year the war bandcis back to protect our Lord Hastings. A YORK!! A YORK!!
