I usually pick in abundance every day at this time of the year, especially from the dahlias. Not this year though. The garden is looking tired, hot & stressed reflecting our own struggles in these temperatures.

These are not just my own 1st world problems, but farmers & the whole food chain are affected by climate change & our profligate use of water…..At home we water what we can from our water butts & keep🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼for rain soon.
What can farmers do when their crops are dying…?

Homegrown & foraged….The fig tree has never been so productive 😊🙃😋 nor the blackberries so early….
