Endings 🍂
Quest: Art Psychotherapy at the ACC has come to an end… with the exciting possibility of starting again, when the time feels right 🌞
From September to December 2025, I offered art psychotherapy sessions through my private practice at the ACC. This was my first time offering 1:1 sessions in this setting. Traditionally, we’re advised to wait five years after graduating to do this kind of work - but I’ve been three years out and felt it was time to take the step ✨
I’m not ready to move into full-time private work just yet, but this experience has been invaluable. It showed me that taking a chance and putting a plan into action can be much easier than it feels, even when the thought of it is dauntingggg!
The images accompanying this post are of the trees at the entrance to Ardglass Community Centre, shedding their leaves week by week. They became a quiet marker of my time here - changing slowly, seasonally - mirroring the way I shifted alongside the work, letting go, making space, and allowing something new to take shape.
I’d like to offer a big thank you to the Ardglass Community Centre for allowing me to use their space. It was perfect, and I’m so grateful I was able to bring this service to Ardglass.
If you’re interested in art psychotherapy for yourself or your child, please feel free to get in touch for more information 🧡
