Hi all 👋🏼

If you didn’t know, I had the most amazing trip to the Philippines in January! It’s taken me a little while to get over the jet lag and adjust to being back at work.. a big trip like that really throws you off your routine. Work has been busy since I got back too!

I’ve started a new art psychotherapy group with some incredible kids, which I’ll be focusing on over the next few weeks.

My hopes for the upcoming spring/summer are lots more painting (exhibition??… 👀) and another block of private therapy sessions at the Ardglass Community Centre starting in April - more info to come soon.

If you have any questions about art commissions, available artwork, art therapy work, or private sessions, feel free to get in touch.

Endings 🍂

Quest: Art Psychotherapy at the ACC has come to an end… with the exciting possibility of starting again, when the time feels right 🌞

From September to December 2025, I offered art psychotherapy sessions through my private practice at the ACC. This was my first time offering 1:1 sessions in this setting. Traditionally, we’re advised to wait five years after graduating to do this kind of work - but I’ve been three years out and felt it was time to take the step ✨

I’m not ready to move into full-time private work just yet, but this experience has been invaluable. It showed me that taking a chance and putting a plan into action can be much easier than it feels, even when the thought of it is dauntingggg!

The images accompanying this post are of the trees at the entrance to Ardglass Community Centre, shedding their leaves week by week. They became a quiet marker of my time here - changing slowly, seasonally - mirroring the way I shifted alongside the work, letting go, making space, and allowing something new to take shape.

I’d like to offer a big thank you to the Ardglass Community Centre for allowing me to use their space. It was perfect, and I’m so grateful I was able to bring this service to Ardglass.

If you’re interested in art psychotherapy for yourself or your child, please feel free to get in touch for more information 🧡

Hello to all of my followers 👋

I just wanted to share a little post to thank you for all of the support over the last year. Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been painting as much in 2025 in comparison to 2024, and that was very much an intentional decision.

I chose to prioritise my Art Psychotherapy practice in 2025, and with that launch my private practice, Quest. In 2024, painting was my main priority, and in that year I executed my first solo exhibition! My two careers seem to move in waves, and that feels like a good rhythm for me. Pulling myself evenly in two directions can be overwhelming, but I’ve found that it’s ok for certain projects to sit in the background for a while.

IN SAYING THAT - I have big fish focused plans for 2026 😏 I don’t do anything half heartedly, so if I’m taking on an art project I need to give it my ALL. This year feels like I have the capacity for that… I’m very excited 😬

Here are some highlights from 2025 - a particular favourite was the Creative Wellbeing Workshop for the Ardglass Festival at the AGC. My original artwork is currently on display in the Ardglass Golf Club, so this was a fun little blending of my two practices.

Again, thank you all so much for your continued support, whether it’s through purchasing artwork or prints, or choosing me to be your Art Psychotherapist. I’m very lucky to have such a creative career and to get to work with such inspirational and engaging people!!

P.S. Just want to point out that these are highlights - there were very much plenty of wobbles as well.

Visiting the RUA exhibition at the Ulster Museum - definitely worth a visit! The standard of artwork is incredible, with such a range of mediums and styles. I was shortlisted this year but didn’t make the final selection - maybe next year! 🎨
