You could pop into the hub to see us and our friends from Carlisle Eden Mind from 10am for coffee, craft and lunch then pop over to the sands and join a choir! Can’t think of a better way to spend a Tuesday!!

It’s our Creative Cafe with an optional walk & talk on Tuesday 10-2pm.

Our friends from Carlisle Eden Mind are here if you would like a one-to-one chat.

Our Tuesday sessions are kindly fully funded by The National Lottery Community Fund so you don’t have to pay for anything.

Also in September we have more free events - a trip to Simple Farming kindly fully funded by North Pennines National Landscape through The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The second event is to find out more, so you are aware of what’s available to plan for the future, for peace of mind that as much as possible is taken care of so you can enjoy precious time together.

Happy Friday from The Hub!

Tuesday saw our Men’s Cafe, kindly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund - Malcolm from North Pennines National Landscape joined us for a final time to finish off the Swift Boxes we started last session, Moira from Upper Eden Linking Lives came to chat as did Bill & Ally from The Donut Club (prostrate awareness).

We discussed the opportunity to visit Simple Farming on 16 September - this is open to all so get in touch if you fancy coming - is is funded by North Pennines Landscapes.

Next session there will be a chance to try our hand at sausage making and scones if you fancy. Tuesday 22 September 10-2pm, see comments for contact details and info on our Tuesday sessions.

Dear Men

Pop in on Tuesday for a coffee, light lunch served at noon. Come and chat, observe, we are hoping to get the rest of our swift boxes made up, Bill from the Donut Club (prostrate awareness) is here too and we can plan some cooking sessions and a trip to Simple Farming to see how regenerative farming works.

It’s 10-2pm - get here when you can and leave when you want.

Luke & Charlotte were pleased to see Patrizia back off her hols yesterday.

Also we were pleased to have a great turnout for our Carers Thoughtful Tuesday - there was lots of chat and a bit of crafting!

Next Tuesday is Men’s Cafe - hopefully finishing off the swift boxes, Bill from the Donut Club - prostrate awareness - is here and we will chat about what cooking sessions you fancy - that was a topic identified at an earlier session.
