Tomorrow, we are back, back at gigs, with music, noise, beers, dancing and some stage magic. The lot. Gigs. Properly. It’s felt a long time. We’ve missed it.

Weirdly, it’s that spark of missing something that started it all for us. A good few years ago invited a whole lot of friends and family who had little ones, nieces, nephews etc to come to the Barrowlands and watch soundcheck and of course because it’s Frabbits they went above and beyond and put on a show. It felt like one of the most privileged things as a parent, newly realising that going out was hard to do, to get to experience. A proper band, ripping it up in a legendary venue, acknowledging that the kids were there but not wrapping it in sugar. (What’s the odd stray swear word between rockstars and kids?). We were buzzing, it felt like being a grown up, whilst also introducing your kids to something special. Something they have fun at and maybe something that might inspire them. Gigs, with your kids. It felt like something that should exist.

And that’s how Major Minor started. In that moment, the idea of Proper gigs, you can take your kids to.
