For 11 days every July, we bring our charming Crail community to life with a spectacular celebration of art, music, and family fun. In the picturesque fishing village of Crail, in the East Neuk of Fife, this family festival appeals to all ages, with tickets priced to suit all pockets. A selection of music concerts (classical, folk, contemporary and jazz); a ceilidh, literary events and art - as well as a quiz night! The Festival is organised and run by the Crail Festival Society, a charity established to further the arts in Crail in particular and Scotland more generally.

Rachael House, the CHAS hospice in Kinross, is closing for a year for a rebuild and a small band from Crail Festival were there with their kid’s games to help increase the funds needed

More gigs from Crail Festival 26, that I’ve now got time to post.

Restricted Code headed by Tom Cannavan was well received by a very enthusiastic audience.

Illyria gave us As You Like It in the rain. These were true trouper to put on a fantastic comedy in the castle grounds to an enraptured audience in such inclement weather.

Withered Hand’s fantastic lyrics had the very appreciative audience begging for more.

Great concert from The Bluebells so far, Crail Community Hall hasn’t heard sound like this for a while.

East Neuk Rising
Crail Festival gave the stage to 4 upcoming acts and were not disappointed.
First up were Red Side of The Sky, who gave us 5 rousing rock tunes, the last one their own composition.
These guys are ones to look out for in the future.
Then came Sofia Benssassi a remarkable young singer-songwriter, who gave us some of her excellent songs capturing the beauty of life.
Another young singer-songwriter Acetone aka Finn gave us some beautiful renditions of his own songs.
The afternoon was finished off by the multi instrumentalist Arjun.B. A set of his own songs, written and played with the skill way beyond his young age.
