A little bit about the frames I use......... I do spend quite a lot of my time sourcing frames when I should really be painting 🙄, but it's part of the finished piece so it's worth it, most frames I buy are from auctions, or sometimes charity, vintage shops, most already have artwork in them or sometimes they can be mirrors, I prefer to use vintage or rustic frames or unusual shapes as they work well with my art, I take out the old artwork, clean and and wax them ready to use, my husband helps me out by cutting the plywood to fit the frame, the board is then primed and ready for me to paint... here is a collection of a few recent frames I have purchased, I will also be working with a brand new beautiful rustic frame that had been ordered specially for me as part of a commission
