Yesterday, I had the privilege of treating one of my lovely clients with a nurturing facial.

My client is undergoing long-term cancer treatment, which has understandably had an impact not only on her skin but also on her confidence and emotional wellbeing. During previous appointments, we had spoken about the challenges that cancer and other health conditions can bring, both physically and mentally.

She had never had a facial before and felt understandably nervous about having someone touch her face, as well as stepping outside of her comfort zone. Together, we created a calm, safe space where she could simply relax and be cared for.

Using gentle, nourishing products and a mindful, compassionate approach, we focused not just on her skin, but on her overall wellbeing. By the end of the treatment, her skin was glowing, but more importantly, she left feeling relaxed, supported and cared for.

Appointments like this remind me why I love what I do. It's about so much more than skincare. It's about helping people feel seen, valued and cared for, especially during life's most challenging moments.

Yesterday didn't just help my client — it humbled me and reaffirmed exactly why I chose this profession. ❤️
