Merry Christmas to all the beautiful souls out there! This year has been a whirlwind, but many happy hours in the studio, in between, navigating the ups and downs of life. Amidst the chaos, one thing remains clear - the importance of cherishing the simple joys. I feel blessed to live under a clear sky, witnessing my boys grow, play, and live without fear. My wish is to paint happiness so vividly that those responsible for pain can truly understand it.

This year’s Christmas Market in the Featherstone's ancient tithe barn is back for you to start December in a naturally beautiful way. The towering barn doors will be thrown open on 1st December for you to browse a wonderful array of items from the finest quality local artisans.

Colour palette! Choosing a colour palette can be both exciting and challenging. It often involves a bit of serendipity, as you experiment with different combinations and hope for a harmonious result.
In this year creations I am drawn to the traditional colors of Christmas, with their warm and inviting vibes. However, I also enjoy taking risks and being a rebel, pushing the boundaries of what is expected. Ultimately, the most important factor is how the colours make you feel... indigo and red mushrooms kind of day 🍄😜

From the top of the crown to the bottom stand. After many hours of painting completely new patterns and symbols, all the energy channelled into each creation becomes very important. I'm truly treasure this connection.

The process behind this year collection was very special.
I'm not thinking really during my painting time. I'm in the process...I'm not planning any details upfront. Time is always very precious. Things are happening organically. I'm in my happy place. Patterns, symbols, shapes, colors, they are part of memories, places, special things, like little old bathroom cabinet which my mum painted in yellow lives to make it pretty. Blury, childhood memories.
There is always a strong connection between the past and now.
Big hearts with little folk details, flowers, colourful birds, and wish of peace and safety for everyone...all the reflections and thoughts are coming when the creative process stops. Both parts are equally important, building a strong narrative behind my inspirations.
