Hi Everyone! Just thought I would pop on to let you know I have been working on a project which includes a book and podcast of local folktales and legends. It's called Test Valley Tales
It's an arts council funded project and I have been working with some great local artists and musicians. Both the book and podcast are suitable for children aged 7+ , and anyone who likes folk tales. All the stories are set in Test Valley and there is a map and key with postcodes, so you can explore where the stories are set. There's also facts, folklore a crafts.

Friday Freebie. 😁
It's the third week of my free story craft to accompany my storytelling podcast 'Funny Tales and Fairy Tales'.
Episode 3 is The Three Billy Goats Gruff, so it had to be my troll puppet!

Oops a little late posting this today- have been having problems with my scanner!!!!
These printable wolf masks are great for role play and igniting young imaginations!🐺
I have made them to accompany my 'Little Red Riding Hood' story on my Podcast. ❤️
What to do? ✂️🖍️
Print them off, then colour them in (or decorate with whatever you have to hand) while listening to my story.
Cut them out and add some string or elastic, then use the masks to act out the story for yourselves!! 🎭
The children will love pretending to be the wolf and then changing the mask to disguise themselves as Grandmother!

Fun at home for ages 5+ ! 👍😁

Locked down with the kids and looking for things to do??!
Starting next Weds 13th, my weekly Junk Storytelling sessions for ages 5+.😁
These sessions are one of the workshops I already take into schools and events. They combine 2 things children love- Junk Modelling and Stories and will be a great activity for the children at home.
So what to expect?
1. Grab some stuff headed for the recycling bin- cereal packets/yoghurt pots
2. Meet me on Zoom
3. The session begins with the children creating their models based on that week's session theme
4. We 'Show and Tell' about what we have made.
5. I create a themed story based on the children's creations
6. The children use their models to help me tell the story!

This week's story theme is 'Space'🚀

Thought you would all like to know that Andrew has been very busy since PlayMakers!
First he landed a lead role in the children's TV series Luna Squad which is now available on Prime! And you will now also see him jumping on his bed as 'Billy' in the new Zoopla advert!
