It came as a real shock to hear the heartbreaking news of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing.

and , our Directors at Art of Eco, fondly remember one of their earliest projects—working on Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s kitchen back when they specialized in hand-painting ceramic tiles. They even had the pleasure of sharing tea and coffee with them—an experience they’ll never forget.

From those moments in person, it was clear Ozzy's energy was infectious, and his kindness just as memorable. His character shone through just as brightly as his music.

The Black Sabbath Final Show 2025 was not only an iconic farewell but a powerful statement of who he was—going out doing what he loved while raising incredible support for Cure Parkinson’s and multiple children’s hospitals and hospices. Truly awe-inspiring.

For someone known as the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy’s legacy burns bright—as a heavy metal icon and a generous, big-hearted soul.

Rest in peace, Mr. Ozzy Osbourne. Your legend lives on. 🤘

Day 4! On to sorting out the finishing touches!

This has been a longtime in the making and it had been great journey in restoring the Marble Column at Cardiff Central Railway in the Ticket hall/Foyer for Transport for Wales Trafnidiaeth Cymru!!

Day 3! Beginning of the final day of fitting (hopefully)!

What a delight to be part of the historical journey of Cardiff Central Railway Station. Honouring the incredible work of , while adding in green, innovative Slabstone Composite material.

With thousands upon thousands of commuters each day that use the station. It is special to have our work seen whether they are aware or not.

Day 2 done! Ready for the next Tuesday!

Cardiff Station replacement marble slab fitting.

1st and 2nd level done, great work by Nick Brown, George Langston & James Langston, and a big shout out to Ruth Jones, alias Nessa from Gavin and Stacey fame who amazingly turned up at the end of the day and said hello, we were all so starstruck that we missed having our photograph taken with you, Ruth was obviously a big fan of circular economy, eco friendly, replacement marble...that is actually occurring!
