Syl Macro Ceramic Artist creates her two dimensional landscapes panels using technique unique to her. Each piece is created by mixing up several colours of clay, rolling them out and adding texture in a variety of ways using nets, grasses, corals, pieces of wood, and plants. With coloured slips and metal oxides also adding depth. Each piece is then dried under a weight to make sure it stays flat, before firing to just under 1200 C degrees. We are delighted to have another beautiful collection of Syl’s wall panels and vases available in the gallery.

This beautiful and majestic Stag sculpture is a new addition to our gallery display. From the Out of the Box series created by talented artist David Cemmick from reclaimed paper packaging, embracing issues of re-cycling and carbon footprint.

A very warm welcome to our new artist Louise Edwards, a Staffordshire Moorlands-based printmaker whose work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the British countryside. Working from her cottage studio, she creates reduction lino prints that celebrate hedgerows, wild plants and the subtle shifts of the seasons.
