Join us on Saturday 5th September for a beginner's teddy bear making class, where you will be guided through Brendan Bear - a 3-D project to teach you basic stitched toy construction skills. You could then move onto making a jointed toy.

Quick Tip Tuesday says that dyeing in tea can help to age a fabric and give the colours a softer look. For my Christmas redwork hanging, I felt that our gingham was the right size of check, but that the white was too bright, so I soaked it in some tea to get it to a better colour, matching more with our gingham ribbon and the marble backing fabric. Really pleased with the result.
