🔥 It’s been nearly a month since Meat Up Festival, and as we look back on an incredible weekend, we want to recognise the people who helped make it all happen.

✨ It simply wouldn’t have come together as brilliantly as it did without a HUGE amount of hard work, support, kit, expertise, and some pretty brilliant people behind the scenes.

🦮 So many four legged festival goers making their way around the show this year - exploring the festival, soaking up the atmosphere and generally stealing the show wherever they went.

🗓️ So when you’re putting the 6th, 7th & 8th August 2027 in the diary, make sure you book the weekend off for them too!

🚜 The Farmers Market was the place to be - bustling with people, brilliant live music and plenty of those Thatchers Cider vibes.

☀️ With the sun decks set up and the music playing, it was the perfect spot to grab a cider, take a seat and soak up everything Meat Up had to offer.

🎵 Great music, great atmosphere and a Farmers Market full of life - exactly how a festival weekend should feel.

🎵🎸🪩💃🏼 MUSIC AT MEAT UP!

The Big Top was bouncing, the crowds were dancing, and we LOVED seeing you enjoy all the incredible live music across the weekend!

A massive thank you to everyone who packed out the tent, sang along, threw some shapes and brought the energy all weekend long.

Seeing the Big Top full of people enjoying the incredible talent on stage was something special.

And, of course, a huge thank you to every artist who joined us and brought the soundtrack to Meat Up 2026 - you absolutely smashed it 🔥🎵🕺🏽

Big shoutout to our brilliant local bands bringing the tunes over in the Farmers Market Thatchers Cider stage too - the perfect soundtrack to a weekend of great food, farming and good times.

❤️‍🔥 Meat Up 2026, you were vibes and we loved every second of it.

🚜 IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE THE FARMERS AT MEAT UP FESTIVAL 2026!

🎤 From honest conversations about British farming and food production, to plenty of laughs, questions and stories from life on the farm, it was incredible to see so many people genuinely interested in learning more about the industry that feeds us all.

🙏🏽 A huge thank you to everyone who took to the stage and helped raise awareness for British farming, sharing their knowledge, experiences and passion with festival-goers throughout the weekend.

☺️ One thing became very clear - people want to know where their food comes from, who produces it and why supporting British farming matters. Seeing so many of you asking questions, getting involved in the conversations and taking a real interest in the future of food was exactly what we hoped the Farmers Market would become.

🍎 And it’s safe to say the Thatchers Cider area was a hit too! We absolutely loved seeing everyone bobbing around in their Thatchers hats, enjoying the sunshine, a cold cider and soaking up the festival atmosphere.

💃🏼 To every festival-goer who stopped to chat with a farmer, asked a question, listened to a talk or simply came to find out a little more about the people behind your food - thank you.

🌾 And to every one of our farming guests, thank you for giving up your time to champion an industry that truly deserves more recognition and support from everyone who eats food.

🫶🏽 We couldn’t be prouder of what the Farmers Market became in year one.

🥩 BUTCHERS’ BLOCK THEATRE AT MEAT UP FESTIVAL 2026 - WHAT A STAGE 💥

🍖 Packed with proper butcher banter, plenty of laughs and some of the best knife skills in the business, this stage really WOWED!

❤️‍🔥 Honest conversations, incredible demonstrations, battle of the butcher competitions and some of the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. It was brilliant to see so many of you watching the demos, asking questions, learning something new and celebrating the craft of butchery.

🥩 And a huge thanks again to the The Catering Butcher (H.H.Jackson Ltd) for supplying the stages with the meat for our festival.

We’re so proud of each and every one of our chefs who drew a crowd all day, every day. It was incredible to see so many people inspired by British produce and live fire cooking.

➡️ Whilst everyone else was cooking for the crowds, Ross was making sure our crew and staff were fed all weekend long. It wasn’t on stage, but it was every bit as important. Some stand behind a grill so everyone else can keep the fire burning, and those flames are just as hot 🔥

👍🏽 A huge thank you to Andrew Dickens for hosting every chef on the Live Fire Stage. I think we can all agree he’s a magnet of knowledge within the industry, and the stage simply wouldn’t have been the same without him.

🔥 MEAT UP FESTIVAL 2026 - where do we even begin?

❤️‍🔥 From the incredible talent lighting up the Live Fire Stage, to the banter in the Butchers’ Block Theatre, the busy Farmers Market talks helping people reconnect with where their food comes from, the live music, the fire, the family fun and everything in between... We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better first year.

🫶🏽 To everyone who bought a ticket, travelled to be with us, supported our traders, watched the demonstrations, danced, ate incredible food and became part of the Meat Up community - thank you.

🥰 A huge thank you also goes to every chef, butcher, farmer, musician, speaker, trader, sponsor, exhibitor, volunteer, crew member and every single person working behind the scenes.

🙏🏼 Of course, as with any first year festival, there were a few teething problems. We’ve heard your feedback, we appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share it, and we’re already looking at how we can make Meat Up Festival 2027 even better. We never expected perfection in year one, but we’re committed to learning and improving for the best experience for you, your family and friends.
