Well our day at Drayton Manor has now come to an end. Not as bad a day as expected when we arrived. It was pretty busy and some rides did go down throughout the day but we still managed to get on a few rides including:

Both cycles of Gold Rush. Still think the second cycle is better (backwards down the lift hill)
The Wave
Blasting barrels
Rapids
Maelstrom

We stopped off on the way to Drayton Manor this morning to charge our EV at Markham Vale/Duckmanton, just off J29a on the M1 which also has a KFC and McDonalds and well as other options and fuel. We find this slightly better than service station prices.

We often stop here returning from both Drayton Manor and Alton Towers for food before heading home.

One half of ThemePark JAMS spent the day at Butlin's Skegness as day guests. The trip cost £44 for one adult and one child. We went swimming, played at the park and visited the fairground. A super day had by all.

We had a great day in the sun at Skegness Pleasure Beach. It cost £27.50 each for wristbands for all day access.

We enjoyed many rides and some re-rides.

We decided to have lunch at Loaded - Fantasy Island inside Skegness Pier. We really enjoyed the Salt n Pepper Chicken on fries and Woos Chicken Curry on tots.

Half of ThemePark JAMS have had a lovely morning walking around Skegness. Next it is time to visit Skegness Pleasure Beach for some rides.
