Just imagine for a second if Air at Alton Towers had of looked like this. 🥲

Unfortunately, the theming for Air was mostly scrapped due to the budget of the ride. I hope one day (next year 👀), Galactica gets the theming it deserves as it really needs it!

World of Jumanji has been around at Chessington for over 3 years now and the plants certainly have grown in quite a bit. 🎋

Featuring 3 different rides and a whole lot of great theming, I think it’s one of the best areas in the UK!

What are your thoughts on the area and the rides within? 🐒🐍

3 years since I rode my favourite UK coasters for the first time! 🥹

I genuinely can’t believe it’s been 3 years, where is that time going. Icon was the first coaster I truly loved and it’s still one of my favourite coaster I’ve been on full stop. It may not be as thrilling as some other UK coasters, it may not have incredible stats… but it just has a bit of everything!

What is your favourite UK coaster and when did you first ride? 👀

I don’t think I’ve seen any photos of this ride being built until the exhibition opened so I did find it interesting!

When Rita inevitably gets removed from Alton Towers, what would you like to see replace it? 👀

It is well known that Rita is on borrowed time, as is all hydraulic launch coasters, but I do think Rita will be removed in the next 5 years or so. It already isn’t the most reliable ride and is known for going down for weeks at a time.

I’m going to make it clearer this time as last time, people did still say this despite me putting it. Before anything like this happens, they do need to put in some more flat rides in the different area. Judging by how things are going, I am sure there will be one or two installed in the very near future!

Pleasure Beach Express is Pleasure Beach Resort’s 1933 Miniature Railway.

It wraps around the southern side of the park, going past rides like Icon, Infusion, Big Dipper and The Big One and the “animals”.

This is also an update for Big Dipper at the same time since its derailment a month ago (as of when this was recorded).

Also, Pleasure Beach Express was running slowly due to the heat so I’ve cut out some of the less interesting bits if you were wondering why I skipped quite a bit of it!

The UK has some great first drops on coasters, including a 180 degree twisted 71.9m (236ft) drop, the drop that tries to launch you into the ocean and even a drop that dives 35m (115ft) underground! The question is which one of these is the best in your opinion? 🪽🥫🕳️🛸🏁🦀

The Alton Towers Exhibition has definitely been the biggest highlight of the summer at Alton Towers! I have been in there so many times, just looking at all the archives on display!

I really hope they do something like this again next year and possibly even make it more permanent, even if that means they can’t do it in The Chapel. 🤞🏻

It is currently open for 3 more days, with its final day being on the 31st August so if you haven’t checked it out yet and still can, I would highly recommend doing so!

Looking down into the ‘unknown’. 🕳️

I can’t believe there were plans to have this entire drop showing, if that were to have happened, it would have changed the ride experience completely!

Imagine standing on a bridge, looking down and seeing an Oblivion train travelling at 68mph, 35m (115ft) below you! 🤯
