We absolutely love this new feature!

Every time you scan onto a ride it logs your ride in the app and not only that you gain xp just like on a computer game where you level up!

There are loads of achievements to get too with daily activities and also whole season achievements!

We found this had us riding attractions at the park that we might usually skip. It certainly adds a new level of fun to your day out.

What a way to end the Summer Holidays !

What’s better than riding during the sunset? Riding it during a solar eclipse!

On Wednesday August 12, the park is inviting guests to gather on the park’s overpass, located beside the ‘Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic’ ride, in an attempt to create what would be one the largest group gatherings to view the eclipse in the North West.

Pleasure Beach will be handing out 1,000 free solar eclipse glasses to those in attendance, in preparation for the Moon’s movement across the Sun.

In addition, thanks to extended opening hours, the eclipse can be spectated from inside the park in its entirety. Each Wednesday during August, Pleasure Beach is open until a later time of 8pm, meaning guests won’t need to cut their visit short to catch the display.

Drayton Manor Resort are now limiting the amount of rides on the Easy Access card depending on park capacity with guest services crossing off sections. Today it was limited to 9. So be warned if your traveling to drayton it’s not a guaranteed 10 rides on the new system.

The easy pass scheme needed to change and really have timeouts but this new random amount of rides on the easy pass scheme is not a good move,
