All Theme Parks Single Riders Group

Hey folks, its been a while since we posted on the page, last year was our busiest year so far with 18 official group meets taking place over the year.

We visited 9 different parks and drove many miles all over the UK from Paulton's Park in Hampshire down south to Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire up north to Alton Towers in Staffordshire in the middle of the country then coast to coast with Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort in Lancashire on the west coast to Fantasy Island in Lincolnshire on the east coast.

We also had a couple weekenders group meets during the year where we visited 2 different parks each day with a hotel stop over with a fun evening full of fantastic food, drink and belly laughs playing cards against humanity with a fantastic group of people.

We of course visited Thorpe Park during spooky season for Fright Nights and Alton Towers for Scarefest, later in the year was the amazing fireworks event at Alton Towers which is a must do event each year and ended the year with a trip to Drayton Manor for there fantastic Christmas event followed by our yearly online Christmas quiz just before Christmas.

Moving on to 2026, We already have group meets planned for Thorpe park and Alton Towers on there respective opening weekends and an group meet outside of the UK with lots planned for new 2026 season.

Summer has arrived 😎 and that means one thing even more roller coasters, we have group meets planned at Thorpe Park, Paulton's Park, Chessington World of Adventures & Alton Towers.

The 2025 season has started with a massive bang with 3 group meets already taken place at Adventure Island, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers and we even got some sunshine.

Coming up in April we have 2 group meets at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort and Alton Towers.

There's just 3 weeks to go before we kick off our BIGGEST season of meet ups ever, with 7 meets at 6 different parks already live in our events page! 😍 we can't wait to banish the off season and get out to the parks again.

Alton Towers in March and April
Adventure Island later in March (followed by Premier Inn Staines for those wishing to stay over to attend the Thorpe Park event.
Thorpe Park again later in March.
Pleasure Beach Resort mid April.
Fantasy Island in Early May (followed by hotel TBC for those wishing to stay over)
Flamingo Land on the day after.

With plenty more to be announced, it's never been easier to meet up with other like minded theme park enthusiasts. Our meets at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park tend to be the busiest, with many regular attendees, whilst the smaller parks tend to draw a smaller crowd, so there's always a meet for anyone who may be a bit apprehensive about meeting others. We have first time attendees at almost all of our meets and we find it doesn't take long for people to feel right at home 😁

2025 has arrived and we are only just over a month away from the start of the season.

We have lots of group meets planned already for this year with some new parks on the agenda, We are starting off the season at Alton Towers, then later on in March we have a weekend group meet organised at Adventure island and Thorpe Park with an overnight stay at the premier inn with lots of fun games planned.

We also have a Blackpool Pleasure Beach group meet coming up in April.

As the year is drawing to a end so is the theme park season unfortunately with only a few weeks left, however the group had a fantastic day at Alton Towers for the spectacular fireworks event, this year Alton Towers really excelled themselves, not sure how they will top that next year as it was truly fantastic.

Over the next few months the Admin team will be working hard with planning our group meets for 2025 ready to announce in January.

We would like to thank all our 2600 members for making the group meets so fun and its been fantastic to see so many friendships form over the past year.

Spooky season is fast approaching, and that means some of our best group meets of the year are too! Join us in October for the excellent Thorpe Park Fright Nights, where we will experience all that the event has to offer, as well as night rides on the likes of Stealth, The Swarm, and 2024s smash hit Hyperia.

Then later on in October it's the turn of Alton Towers scarefest to thrill and frighten, with returning classics, new scares, and some of the best night time coasters going with the likes of TH13TEEN and Wicker Man, and of course Nemesis Reborn.

A reminder that there are plenty of other meets already posted on our groups events page right up to the end of the season.

Summer 2024 update.

Well its been an fantastic summer, lots of group meets taking place, we had an awesome trip over to Emerald Park in Ireland in June followed by a trip to Alton Towers and Thorpe park in July and then over to Drayton Manor in early August.

We are off to Blackpool Pleasure Beach this weekend.

Then upcoming group meets at Alton Towers for Oktoberfest later in September plus lots more planned for the rest of the year.

Summer seems to finally be here! 🙌 and there's no nicer time to visit the parks than when the sun is shining. We've got plenty of awesome meets happening in the next few weeks so why not come along and enjoy the nice weather.

First up is our regular trip to Alton Towers this week, of course there'll be rides on all the coasters, Curse At Alton Manor, and a lap on the Congo to cool off. These meets are always great with a good turnout, and a good chance to experience all the park has to offer.

Next later on in June is our long awaited trip over to Ireland for Emerald Park! So many good rides to get on, and we're hearing lots of good things about their new themed area, and Na Fianna Force, their brand new Vekoma STC. Plenty of flight options still available to Dublin from London, Manchester and others, so it's an excellent opportunity to try a new park, and of course add some all important credits!

Then we have another meet at Thorpe Park in early July, another great opportunity to ride the brand new, amazing Hyperia, as well as favourites like Stealth and The Swarm.

We'd like to remind everyone that we also highly encourage members to arrange their own meet ups within the group also.

May the forth be with you, there have been rumours around the dark forest that the dark lord himself has encountered 13, we dare you to join him but be very careful this is the dark forest and things may get a little strange.

Meanwhile over in X Sector R2D2 has been running around very excited about that Master Luke has just arrived from planet Oblivion.

Want to join Luke and R2D2 on there next voyage to visit the forbidden valley where the Nemesis creature can be found then join our group, we have a group visit to Alton Towers organised in a few weeks time.
