We have had some new customers in the last few weeks who have struggled to find us, so hopefully this may help anyone who is struggling, but do please call us if you are lost!

What a lovely time we had yesterday at Studio S. So much to celebrate !
Many, many thanks to the wonderful parents who helped out on 'Team Studio S' and to our lovely audience. It was great to see so many 'Dance Mums' and 'Dance Dads' joining in with the dancing at the end - lots of us just did not want to go home!
What a great time we all had, and the beautiful sunshine and blue skies just made a very special time even more enjoyable.
Lastly, we should say a huge thank you to each one of our wonderful children and young people - we just LOVE watching you 'Dancing for Joy'. (singing too....)

We are really excited for our Awards Day on Saturday, all information is listed below;

🕺🏽 normal Saturday classes are running
💃 7+ children attending the 11am class are welcome to stay with us all afternoon but you are also welcome to collect them and return later in the day
🕺🏽 The Awards event runs 3.30pm - 6.30pm and consists of Awards for all dancers, individual Awards voted by peers & staff and performances from the incredible Studio S children 💜 please do let us know if your child is attending to ensure everyone is involved in the Awards.
💃 Each child needs a parent / guardian to attend with them as during the awards, children will be sitting with their families and then coming up to perform at different intervals - this worked really well last year and it was such a special afternoon!
🕺🏽 Children are to arrive with parents between 3pm and 3.30pm ready for the Awards to commence at 3.30pm Teens, Squad and improvers need to arrive earlier ( this will be confirmed with each group tomorrow)
💃 As this is an Awards event, we are not overly concerned about what the children wear but we do think it would be absolutely lovely if the children wore Studio S uniform if they are performing - we do have spare T shirts if you dont have one.
🕺🏽 If your child would like to perform, they must have their hair up - ideally in plaits ( normal, french or dutch) but if you are unable to plait, tied back is absolutely fine. If your child is attending day classes and you would like us to plait their hair ready for the afternoon, let us know on drop off. Children must also be wearing socks and trainers.
💃All children are welcome to attend classes on saturday if they would like a practise - infants 9.30-10.30am, juniors 11am-12.30pm.
🕺🏽 tickets are on sale and can be purchased on the gate or at the studio this week. Performing children do not require a ticket but donations towards our costume/equipment fund are always greatly appreciated!!! We are currently saving up for a full set of radio microphones and new costumes for all age groups ready for our next theatre show.

Its going to be a special afternoon celebrating our wonderful and exceptionally talented dancers - we would absolutely love for you to join us.

Here are a few autumn diary dates! We have had a great summer but we are looking forward very much to the Autumn months now, and of course the Christmas period is always very exciting at Studio S so there is a lot to look forward to...and more to come too!

Do you know that Studio S is not just for children? Our adult classes are designed for fun and fitness! We are situated on Crewe Road, at the rear of Senate House. We do not care about age, size , shape or fitness levels, so why not come and join the fun? Do let us know if you have questions, we would love to hear from you!

All of us know that Jenni and Katie do an amazing job teaching in the studio, what often goes unseen though, is all of the work behind the scenes that is ongoing every day to ensure the studio is well organised and safe for our customers. They are responsible for many areas of compliance, including Food Hygiene, so when the Environmental Health Officer came to inspect Studio S today, we were delighted for our '5' status to be renewed. Well done and many thanks to Jenni and Katie for everything that they do, every day, to ensure the highest standards of compliance in terms of food safety.
