If you want to just turn up without reserving seats there will be space for you - remember it is a cash only event - just pay on the door.

Folk Festivals are on their way back and Forgotten Lands is one of the first of the season.

I had a lovely at the festival on Saturday 7th August.

Here are my pictures from the day :)

The Alnwick Festival - switched to the indoor option because of forecast bad weather but it was a great inside venue at St. Paul's School.

It was such a friendly day.

I didn't have enough people for for a uke workshop at 12.00 noon but numbers snowballed later on so we combined uke workshop with a performance - which meant a lot of audience participation - obviously culminating in 'Wild Thing' - It was great fun.

Good to see old friends again, particularly Renata with her new trio.

Ian K Brown will doing a beginners ukulele workshop at Noon (12.00) at the festival on Saturday.

Ideal for 8-80 year olds who have never played before and those who have done a little bit before.

Plenty of spare ukes in any colour provided it is red!
