It is with great sadness that Alnwick Arts and Crafts finally closed its doors for the time being.
I would like to thank every one for making the centre the success it has become. I have enjoyed my time at the centre but hopefully after a long awaited operation, I will soon be back on my feet and ready to take on the challenge once more.
ART has been my life and soul and always will be, I've met some very talented and wonderful students who are not students to me but wonderful friends.
Art is so important for wellbeing and mental health,
It's saved me over the years and enabled me to help others by passing on the joy and skills of being creative. None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for all the wonderful teachers and students who have made it possible for me to create my dream of running an art centre. My dream to help others and to create a wonderful, safe environment for everyone. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for all my wonderful friends and loyal staff who have worked so hard over the years to make it a success, Thank you all x Matthew, Adam, Maureen, Anneka, Deanne and Rachel. And our fantastic talented tutors who have taught in the Centre and supported me and the groups that have used the centre a big Thank you for now and I will look forward to seeing you all very soon when I'm up and about once more and return in the new year, all our LOVE Fiona and Dylan ###
