August… you were completely surreal 🥹

The entire Christmas collection designed and completed, over 60 cottages made, and somehow two markets squeezed in between.

Then came the moments I still can’t quite believe…

Visitors from Italy and a family from the USA actually coming to see Highland Fairy Doors, here at my little cabin at the bottom of the garden. 🥹

Sometimes, surrounded by wood, paint, flowers and the usual cabin chaos, I forget just how far this little business has come.

August was exhausting, exciting, emotional and completely bonkers.

But more than anything, it was another month where I stood in my little cabin and thought…

First come the pumpkins and golden leaves… then the darker cosy nights… and before we know it, a little bit of Christmas magic starts sneaking in ✨

Not only am I a cottage maker… apparently I can make brooms too!

A little something I’ve been tinkering with for this weekend’s autumn display 🍂🎃

Because obviously making cottages wasn’t keeping me busy enough…

And I have to say… I’m rather chuffed with my first attempt!

No flying demonstrations will be available at the market.

The guesses are in… and it’s time to officially introduce Neville Nip! ❄️

Neville is the very proud Innkeeper of The Snowed Inn, tucked away in the snowy depths of Noelwicks. ♥️

Behind the door you’ll find a roaring fire, a warm welcome, fine ales and, of course, a wee nip of something to warm you through… which could come in rather handy when the snow starts falling. 🥃🤣

Because at The Snowed Inn, there’s always the slight possibility that you might actually get…

SNOWED IN! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣❄️

But this does raise one rather suspicious question…

What exactly is Neville’s relationship with Fergus Flurry, Noelwicks’ Master Snow Maker? 👀❄️

Is there conflict between the two of them…
or are they secretly in cahoots?! 🤨🤣

After all, a little extra snow certainly wouldn’t be bad for business at The Snowed Inn… 🤪🤣

Neville has been the long suffering owner of something in the valley, although I’m keeping his exact title under wraps for now. 👀
