My world crashed on Fathers Day 2020 when my beloved Dad passed away and the sparkle faded from the venture. Now, after pulling up my big girl pants,I have overcome the fear of working with the band saw, belt sanders and much more to keep the memory of my amazing Dad & Highland Fairy Doors well and truly alive. The candles are lit, the log burner is on and it’s all feeling lovely and cosy! 🥰

And this time next week we’ll be In Caithness ahead of Taste North in Wick for our very first festive outing of the season! 🎄

Once upon a time, there was a little cottage just waiting for its story to begin… 🏡❤️

With a beautiful blossom tree, a tiny storybook hanging at the side and a name that couldn’t be more fitting, this little cottage has come to life in the cabin!

There’s something so lovely about creating a piece that takes you back to childhood fairy tales, where a little imagination can take you anywhere. ✨

The cabin will be closed next week as I get everything ready for my first festive event of the year on 1st November! 🎄✨

There’s going to be lots of packing, sorting and organising to do… not to mention the dreaded paperwork that goes along with attending an event! 😖😖😖

💕 A little favour for anyone with orders waiting to be collected! 💕

I’ll be in the cabin this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so if you have an order to be collected and could manage to pop along to collect it over the weekend, I’d be so grateful! 🥰❤️

Space is already at a premium in the cabin, and with 20 boxes to pack for my first event, I’m going to need every spare inch I can get!

🎄🤣 When a creative mind sees something completely different! 🤣🎄

Now, I know I’ve got a rather overactive imagination, but I think I’ve surpassed myself this time! 🤣

I’ve been trying to come up with a way of displaying my Christmas wreaths at upcoming markets without taking up too much space.

So, after a little brainstorming with myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ I spotted something that I thought might just do the job!

A TOILET ROLL HOLDER!!! 🚽🤣🤣

Yes, you read that correctly!

One toilet roll holder, a few curtain pole rings with clips and a little bit of creative thinking later… and voilà! My new Christmas wreath display stand! 🎄❤️

And do you know what? It works an absolute treat!

I’ve always loved finding alternative uses for everyday things, but I think this one might take some beating! 🤣

So come on, what’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever repurposed?

Please tell me I’m not the only one whose brain works like this! 🤣🤣❤️
