Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover this one.

After two unforgettable years, MK DanceCompany will be closing its doors. This chapter has been such a huge part of my life something I poured my heart into and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created together. Every class, every competition, every laugh, every challenge… it has all meant more than I can put into words.

MK DanceCompany has never just been a studio. It’s been a family, a safe space, and a place where so many special memories were made. Letting that go is incredibly emotional.

But with every ending comes a new beginning.

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be joining the faculty at B Fabulous Dance Studios in their brand new location on Sauchie Main Street and even more special, the children will be coming with me to continue their journey there. That means everything to me.

This is a really positive step, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the dancers, supporting them, teaching them and mentoring them throughout their dance journey in a brand new studio environment.

What means the most to me is that this isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be there still teaching, still supporting, still pushing every dancer to be their best, and still just as invested in each and every one of them. That part of me isn’t going anywhere.

To everyone who has been part of MK DanceCompany over the past two years… thank you. You are the reason it became what it is, and I’ll carry that with me always.

Here’s to new beginnings, new energy, and an exciting next chapter 🤍

⭐ STAND OUT AWARD – ORLA KEMPSKI ⭐

Orla works incredibly hard in every single class. Not only that, she also assists in our younger classes, where the kids absolutely adore her. Her dedication to MK Dance Company is second to none.

Being both your dance teacher and your big brother isn’t always easy. You’re the one in the studio 24/7, seeing everything that happens behind the scenes. You’re there late at night, there first thing in the morning, eating dinners in the studio, and doing everything you can to help. And through it all, you’re always right beside me. ❤️

You give so much of yourself to the school. You help me in every way you can. You’re always the last to get your own solos sorted, yet you never moan, never complain you just get on with it with the most professional attitude. 👏✨

Orla, I’m so incredibly watching you grow into a true wee professional has been one of my greatest joys.🫶🏻✨

🌟 RISING STAR OF THE YEAR – EMILIA ROSE 🌟

What a year it’s been for Emilia! This time last year she was so close to making her final… and then mid-year she didn’t just make her final she won it. Since then, her growth has been unbelievable.

Emilia has worked incredibly hard and has now moved into one of the toughest sections, U12 Intermediate. She never complains, always shows up with a positive attitude, and pushes herself in every single class. Watching her progress has been nothing short of inspiring.

Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. The team at Fearless Dance Events recognised her commitment and nominated her for Rising Star at last week’s Awards Gala… and she WON! 🌟🏆

We are so incredibly proud of you, Emilia. Keep shining, keep growing, and keep doing what you love. The sky’s the limit! 💫💛
