‘Scottish Young Musicians Best Vocalist of the Year’ 2022 winner, Jasmin Jet is an independent, award winning singer/songwriter who is has been in the performing arts sector since a young age. With her unique and powerhouse voice, multi-genre repertoire and captivating stage presence she is in very high demand across the UK music scene. Jasmin began her journey in musical theatre, gaining her offi

cial NODA training. Since then, she has taken a different path in music performing at a wide variety of gigs, music festivals and events, travelling over the UK. The 19-year-old has already played some iconic events and venues such as; Hard Rock Café, Party at the Palace, Vibration Festival, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut and the Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival to name a few. Jasmin has also recently gained a lot of interest in the London music scene after performing at popular venues that have been re-booked for 2023. In 2022, she was awarded as ‘SCOTTISH YOUNG MUSICIANS BEST VOCALIST OF THE YEAR’ (judged by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) after taking the place as ‘SCOTTISH YOUNG MUSICIANS BEST SOLO PERFORMER’ in her region (also judged by the Royal Conservatoire). Jasmin is currently getting ready to release her long-awaited debut single and is working on her debut EP which is also set for release early next year in preparation for a jam-packed diary in 2023. She is creating something authentic, fresh and inclusive for all listeners and is very excited to share it with the world.

wow, my debut ep ‘trust the process’ is now out in the world and ready for ur ears!!!! ⭐️🪽 ok BIG yap coming get comfy.

this project is all about coming in adulthood and reflecting on my life up till my 20s. even though they’re very happy sounding songs the stories behind them came from a not so happy place - i spent a lot of my teenage years stuck in feelings of shame, guilt and wrapped up in the negativity of my own mind. so writing is the only way i know how to process all of these feelings.

my intention with this project was to create something digestible, fun and pop-y as i’ve experimented with sooo many genres and struggled to pick what one to start with - hence why ive put off releasing.

3 of the tracks demos i produced in my bedroom. i had no idea how to produce so thank god for splice. and also thank god for .allen.music for being the best collaborator, working with you is always a pleasure!
we slogged it out for 3 months and even though it was probably one of the most stressful times of my life i’ll never forget how much fun we had making it, we left every session with very sore ribs from laughing so much.

now to the thank yous- i want to of course thank .allen.music not only are u the GOAT at producing and mixing, you’re also one of the nicest people ever and i’m honoured to call you a friend

thank you for mixing track 2 and 5. you and james both saved the day as we had a bit of a nightmare situ with the mixing 😀

at for mastering the full ep, it was a surreal experience to sit in the mastering session listening to the whole ep through speakers that were twice the size of me 😂😂

for shooting the gorgeous cover, you are the best at what you do !!

and last but not least i want to thank myself lol. i’m really proud of myself that my first project is fully self written and that i created something out of the experiences and feelings that once consumed me.

i really did trust the process and i’m so grateful to be alive. i may be 8 years into this music thing but this is only the beginning !!!!!
