We are absolutely THRILLED to announce that Spotlight Theatre Alloa has been nominated THREE TIMES for the Scottish Theatre Awards 2026! 🥳🏆

Our nominations are:

🌟 Best Production 2026 – Amateur/Youth Group
💃 Best Choreographer – Caitlin Finnigan
🎬 Best Director – Craig McCormack

We honestly couldn’t be prouder! To have our work recognised alongside so many other incredible theatre companies, performers, creatives and theatre professionals is a huge honour.

A massive congratulations to everyone involved in bringing our productions to life — this recognition belongs to the whole Spotlight family! 🌟

Now we just have to wait until February for the awards night… and we CANNOT WAIT! 🥂🎭

Due to a change in teacher circumstances, we were unable to start our new classes, so we are now looking for a new Acro Tutor to join our fabulous team! 💜

📅 Wednesdays (times negotiable)
🤸‍♀️ Junior & Senior Acro (open to adding a mini class)
💃 Open to other genres to teach alongside Acro

💵 Pay negotiable

Wishing all the luck in the world to our fabulous cast member Jodi as she heads to Ireland to compete in the Dance World Cup.

Jodi joined Spotlight back when it all began in 2015 and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching her grow into not only a fabulous dancer but an amazing young woman. No matter what happens to us you are a winner !

** Workshop / Open Day 2 **

We had another fabulous day yesterday welcoming back more members and more new faces . We had a great time learning new songs and reading for parts for our Panto.

We are now off for summer and rehearsals will resume August 9th . Remember to request to join our closed group - Spotlight cast closed group - for all information and practice videos . Please remember to fill out safety question when requesting to join.

💫 We Are Back 💫

We had such a great day today. Being back together was amazing ! We learned some songs and dances for the panto and also started reading for parts.

Learn how to sing , dance and act !

Spotlight perform a fundraising cabaret and a christmas pantomime each year allowing people from age 7 - 107 to perform on stage , create great memories and make life long friends !

Come along to our panto workshops for a trial.

21st & 28th June , 1-5pm Clackmannan town hall.

We cannot believe our show is finished ! The cast and crew worked incredibly hard and we are exceptionally proud of every single person involved in this production!

Our fundraising cabaret was a huge success with all the money raised going towards our next panto “Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood” .

Thank you to all our audiences for coming along and supporting us every year and for being so generous.

Also a big huge thank you to all the mums , dads and family members who bring children to rehearsals , who help on Sundays / show week and to the staff and hall keepers at clackmanan and Alloa town hall.

We are very grateful.
