Excited. The Late Summer exhibition at the Wee Gallery on Candleriggs in Alloa opens tomorrow Saturday August 22nd and with gap sites filled, so if you are out and about call in and let us know what you think of our "new" spaceous interior.
For those on wheels, good news, the car park on Greenside has been upgraded and is once again open :>) And lucky us the gallery is situated in easy walking distance to a host of quality cafés and right next door to and close to the historic

Enjoying the process of rearranging exhibits in the Wee Gallery on Candleriggs in Alloa while the mannequins are together for a moment. With two artists new to the gallery along with returning artists the exhibition gaps will be filled over the coming days. We reopen on Saturday gaps and all :>)

With the heat of summer cooled by a blanket of cloud and rain catches us unaware that is great time to pop into the Wee Gallery on Candleriggs and enjoy the chance to view some great original paintings before our next changeover. It is good to stand and stare, to let our minds be carried to unexpected places because an artist has chosen to paint what they have painted, and in the way they have painted and their depiction of something or somewhere they love.
BE AWARE the exhibition change during the third week in August will see the departure of many current pieces.
At the Wee Gallery we hope you and your family will be able to find a moment or two to call by.

Working on a new creation, "I the dog house", slate, wood and dried neep. On tha case to find the best adhesives for the different surfaces.

The Wee Gallery on Candleriggs in Alloa is open and away from the glare of the sun. So if you have a moment to come by and see Inglewood Pond, Alloa Tower, the Garden of Eden and a leather dandelion, we are open until 3pm today Saturday 27 June. I A warm, but in the cool, welcome awaits :>)

One of the joys of running a gallery is the joy of wondering where a painting can be hung to give it its best chance to be viewed. Spot the Bobby Rennie wild card painting of Knaresborough Castle waiting alongside Monika Alff's Edrao for the gallerist to make up her mind.
The presence of this airy painting brings to mind moments spent in the cool shadows of leafy deciduous trees everywhere.
