I've had a super chilled day at work today, and it's been a while since I painted much for myself! Sticking with the badger theme again 🦡 I managed to sketch and paint this little guy having a drink and looking at his own reflection 😊

This trio of magical toadstool baubles are off to their new home ready for Christmas today 🍄🎄⭐️

Each one is handpainted and unique! I sold so many of these last year but this is the first order for them so far this season!

I've been a bit preoccupied with life the last few weeks to be doing much art. I had my first Christmas fair of the year the other weekend and it went very well but other than that I haven't been up to much worth posting about! I did however make a start on this little badger painting, about half way done I think now!

In other news, I will be at Hexham Abbey indoor market tomorrow 10am-3pm ... I will have two of my delightful children with me for the duration (pray for me😅) so I may be slightly more frazzled looking than usual, but it should be a good day with loads of other amazing stalls to have a mooch around too!

Productive morning making some more wreathes, gave twine spiderwebs a go and think they have turned out great! A mix of crystals, clay mushrooms, yarn pumpkins, moss and dried flowers to decorate 🍄🍁🔮🕸✨️

Happy national Badger Day! 🦡 I've always had a love for badgers, with their mysterious nocturnal wanderings and hidden burrows tucked deep in the woods. They are like real life fairytale creatures picked straight out of a storybook, adding a touch of magic to our countrysides! I've only ever seen one once out in the wild but they have inspired a few of my artworks over the years and I doodle them quite often!
