A murder mystery event raised thousands of pounds for a play park renovation fund.

🕵️‍♂️ Detectives, this just in… you helped raise a whopping £4,166 for the Play Park Renovation Fund! 🤩

That’s right — the final total has been counted and, thanks to your support, A Lethal Luncheon at the Lardidahs has added an incredible ✨ £4,166 ✨ to the play park renovation pot! 🥳

When we first dreamt up this event back in March, we hoped people would enjoy it and that we’d raise some much-needed funds for the play park... What we never imagined? The amazing support it would receive, with guests wholeheartedly embracing the dress code, the investigation and—most importantly—the cause!

From the phenomenal feedback and wonderful costumes, to the laughter, detective work and standing ovations, the response exceeded every expectation we had. 🥹 And now, every single penny raised during all the fun we had will go directly towards improving the play park for children and families in our wonderful community.

As a first-time event for both the Village Hall team and the Panto team, this weekend has been a huge learning curve, a huge amount of work, and quite simply one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done. 👏

So thank you! Whether you bought a ticket, volunteered, donated, or simply supported us along the way, this result would not have been possible without you and we are totally over the moon! ❤️

🔍 THANK YOU! 🥂

Well, what a weekend that was! We have been completely blown away by the support, enthusiasm and generosity shown over the past few weeks, and especially over the last two evenings.

From the incredible outfits and brilliant detective work, to the wonderful feedback we've received since the curtain came down, you've made A Lethal Luncheon at the Lardidahs far more successful than we could ever have imagined.

We've loved every minute of bringing this original murder mystery dinner and theatre experience to life, and we're delighted that so many of you have already been asking when the next one will be!

We're still totalling everything up, so the final amount raised for our play park project is still to be confirmed, but thanks to your generosity we know it will be something to celebrate.

To everyone who bought a ticket, donated, dressed up, volunteered, cooked, served, performed, helped behind the scenes, or simply supported us along the way: Thank you!

🎩 Smart/formal attire (with bonus points for a 60s twist!) – it’s looking warm, so please dress comfortably for the weather.

🚪 Doors open at 7:00pm.

🥂 We recommend arriving by 7:15pm to enjoy your complimentary arrival drink and get settled before the investigation begins.

🎭 The show starts promptly at 7:30pm.
