We think it's time for a little Kendall update! 😍🖤

Now almost 3 months old, baby Kendall the Colombian spider monkey is beginning to show her cheeky and playful personality! Whether it's climbing all over mum, Moa, or quietly sucking her thumb, Kendall has, of course, captured everyone's hearts, and we can't wait to see how she grows over the next 3 months. 🐒

Here's some fun facts about our 2 Bactrian camels:
🤎 They are the only land mammals that can drink salty water

🤎 They grow incredibly thick, woolly coats in the winter to withstand cold temperatures and shed these coats in large tufts during the spring (which what you'll see at the minute!)

🤎 Did you know, Bactrian camels can consume 6 to 12 kg (13 to 26 lbs) of dry plant matter daily in the summer!

🐾 Year 2 Went Wild at Drusillas! 🌍🐒

Last week, we were thrilled to welcome to the park as part of their Wild Earth topic!

The children discovered amazing facts about some of our wonderful animals, including lemurs, flamingos, and monkeys, before putting their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test in our fun-filled Zoolympics challenges! 🏅

It's fantastic to see so much curiosity, learning, and laughter happen throughout the day!

At Drusillas, we love welcoming schools and groups to inspire the next generation about wildlife, conservation, and the incredible world we share with animals 🏠🌿

PUPDATE! 🐾😍

We're delighted to announce the safe arrival of some adorable new prairie dog pups!

After spending their first few weeks underground, these little ones are now popping up above ground to play, explore, and meet the rest of the family.

Fun fact: Prairie dogs aren't dogs at all - they're actually rodents and close relatives of squirrels! 🐿️

Their alarm calls are so detailed they can communicate the type, size, speed, and even colour of a predator. Pretty impressive for such tiny animals! 🤯
