With the new school year officially underway, we couldn’t resist getting our own obligatory “first day of school” photos! 📷

As I’m sure many of you can relate, some were more than happy to pose in their snazzy school uniforms, while others would have much rather hit the snooze button and enjoyed a few more minutes in bed! 😉

Today is National Zoo Awareness Day - a day to highlight the vital role modern zoos play in wildlife conservation, education and scientific research🐾

We caught up with our Head Zookeeper, Gemma, to find out more about the important work we do, both here at Drusillas and around the world🌍
