Matlock Bath Illuminations is a fun-packed family event featuring a spectacular parade of illuminated and decorated boats along the River Derwent. The 2026 season opens with a Preview Night on Saturday 12 September, and will then run every Saturday and Sunday from 19 September to 1 November, plus Friday 30 October.

See the work of Stevie Davies, Mark Langley, Natasha Opacic and Isabella Blue across different venues in Melbourne during Melbourne Festival on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September.

In addition to the commissioned pieces, so far Creative Melbourne have hosted nearly 30 Artist led Creative Community Workshops throughout the year work have also been based on Humanity, Nature & Creativity - some examples of this work are displayed in Melbourne Parish Church during the Festival.

Head to The Gardens at Melbourne Hall to see the secret sculpture garden, featuring 36 contemporary sculptures by regional sculptors to complement Melbourne Hall’s collection of antique sculptures.

The work has been on display throughout August and September, during normal opening hours at The Gardens – Melbourne Hall in Church Square Melbourne DE73 8EN. Entry is £10 per adult – FREE with a Festival Wristband over the weekend of Melbourne Festival – 19 & 20 September.
