Admiral Bar Pool Competition - August 2026

Twenty five participants took part in a keenly contested August ‘Admiral Bar Pool Competition’.

Congratulations to Khim Gurung, who beat Suraj Thapa Magar 3-2 in an absorbing final of the highest standard. This represented a tremendous result for Khim, who has played in all but one of the competitions to date - and whose only other top three finish was in the March competition. Runner up Suraj can also take enormous pride in his performance having not progressed beyond the last 16 in his previous three tournaments.

Last month’s runner-up, Sunny maintained his recent consistent form defeating Raju Ale Magar 2-1 to take third place. Raju played some of his best pool to reach a semi final - having reached the quarter final stage on five previous occasions.

The Admiral management and Competition Volunteer Organiser, Chris Clark would again thank all participants for their commitment in making the event a great success - and once again a lively atmosphere and fun evening!

The next event will take place on Thursday 24th September. Registration to enter the September tournament will be at the Admiral Bar between 5.30 and 6.30 pm on the night. As per usual, there will be a limit of 32 and places allocated on a first come, first served basis.
