Ebbw Valley Brass is delighted to announce the signing of Jennifer Richardson, who joins the band on back row cornet ahead of the upcoming season!
Introduced to brass bands by her parents at the age of 10, Jenny began her musical journey with Alcester Victoria Silver Band, where her first engagement was marching alongside her parents for a Remembrance Parade, performing Slaidburn. She later joined The Shirley Band, competing in both the First and Championship Sections.
Following lockdown, Jenny was introduced to the The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, where she developed a particular passion for challenging repertoire and test pieces.
Alongside her playing, Jenny currently contributes to contest commentary for The British Bandsman across the UK. She will also begin her studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama - Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru this September. ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ
