✨🪄 THE CREATURE CHOOSES THE ADVENTURER… 🪄✨

NerdyTortoises is all set up at Bidford Market and the Menagerie is waiting…

We’re here until 1pm, with all sorts of mystical creatures looking for their forever adventurer. 🐉👻🍄

You may think you know which creature you’re looking for…

Perhaps a spooky companion? 👻 Our ghosts are waiting patiently to see if one will choose you.

Perhaps an earthly creature is more your style? 🐈🐶🍄 You might find a curious cat, a loyal puppy, or even a mysterious mushroom calling your name.

Or maybe destiny has something more mystical in store… 🐉✨ Will a dragon choose you? Or perhaps a mischievous goblin?

And for those drawn to the water… 🌊🐋 You never know when a whale or an adorable axolotl might decide that you are their adventurer.

So come and browse the Menagerie, but remember…
You don't choose the creature. The creature chooses the adventurer. 🪄✨

Which one will call to you? 👀

🎃⚔️ ADVENTURERS, GATHER ROUND! ⚔️🎃

This is it. We have officially entered Spooky Month™, which means the Menagerie has opened its doors to all things cute, spooky and slightly mischievous. 👻🦇✨

You've already met our rather fabulous ghost 👻 and our mischievous little bats 🦇, both of whom will be joining us at our next market. And honestly? They're probably sticking around for the rest of the season because who wouldn't want a ghost or a bat in their adventuring party all year round? 😂

But perhaps the undead aren't quite your thing...

Maybe you seek the chaotic energy of a goblin? 👺
Perhaps a dragon to guard your hoard? 🐉
Or maybe you're after something a little more... cat-like? 🐈‍⬛

Whatever your quest, the Menagerie has companions aplenty waiting to meet their new adventurers! ✨

⚔️ Find us this Saturday at Bidford Market!
🎃 3rd October | 9am–1pm

Come roll the dice, browse the Menagerie and see which magical companion chooses you. 🎲✨

🧶👀 A word of warning, adventurers... 👀🧶

Lexi has been working very hard to grow the Menagerie ready for this weekend. So, if you haven't seen her recently, you might want to check that the pile of yarn in her work room isn't breathing. 😂

At this point, we're not entirely sure where the yarn ends and the magical companions begin... 🐉🦇👻

All jokes aside, crocheting the magical plushies that make up the NerdyTortoises Magical Menagerie is one of the very best parts of the gig. Every little creature starts as a bundle of yarn and a quest to bring them to life — and then they head off into the world to find their adventurers. ✨

And with Bidford Market this Saturday, there are rather a lot of new companions waiting in the wings! 👀

So if you're looking for your next magical companion, you know where to find us... just follow the suspiciously large pile of yarn. 🧶➡️🎃
