Started some little 8x8cm sketches after getting the idea from another artist I follow (Anna Wilson).

Don’t have a huge amount of time or energy for art at the moment but I’m really trying to keep creating in some way. These little sketches are quick and don’t take up too much time. This wee grid will be pictures from my May camera roll, this first one from a wee morning cycle to the Douglas Estate in Coatbridge. Lovely place and close enough to visit on a wee cycle before work ❤️

Always forget how much I love just simply drawing and doodling.

Hopefully I’ll get time to start another collage painting soon but in the meantime it’s so much more accessible to grab a pen and paper. A wee 30 mins on this tonight and already my head feels clearer.

Collecting more references in Aberfoyle yesterday on one of the Gravelfoyle tracks (Aqueduct Loop).

Something special and calming being in amongst trees. Went early and had the track to myself up until the last 5k ❤️
