My name is Dale Harrison and I live on the beautiful west coast of the Scottish Highlands. I have the creative hobby of woodturning.

Hi my name is Dale Harrison and I live in the Highlands of Scotland in Aultbea IV22 2JA I’ve set up this page so I can simply show and sell my wood turned pieces I have always enjoyed the outdoors during my career as a groundsman in Yorkshire creating award winning gardens and also using photography to capture my surroundings. After retiring and moving to the Highlands in 2019 and renovating our h

ome I have now returned to my much, loved hobbies. I took over the attached garage and made it into my workshop to house my passion for wood where I make my creations. After a while, Maria, my wife suggested that, as the house was now full wooden bowls, sculptures and other items she suggested maybe showing my items in a little hut outside and possibly sell some. Together in April 2022, we set up a little green hut outside the front door but soon expanded to 2 of them and then having a particularly poor spell of wind and rain in June we decided to build a lovely large log cabin to be able to get inside out of the weather and shelter my items safely. End of June 2022 we finally opened our cabin with the items shown off for our lovely visitors to browse at leisure. Being on the NC500 route we realise that there is very few hand crafted items for sale so we are happy to be able to fill that gap. And as a final note, as a Yorkshireman’s tradition, repeat customers will be offered Tea and biscuits.
