Honestly can’t understand where the last few months have gone! But North East Open Studios is fast approaching. I’ll be opening my studio doors for the week this year 12-4pm (closed Monday and Thursday). Come and visit my beautiful studio on the Aboyne Castle Estate - I’ll have new paintings, lots of sketchbook work from this summer and may even have a cute 🐾 or 👶🏼 with me too.

And honestly if you haven’t visited NEOS venues before, it’s so worth doing! Around 400 artists across the north east take part so you could literally spend the entire week visiting studios and getting inspired. Look out for the yellow books, or visit the website www.northeastopenstudios.co.uk for all the info!

There are 9 of us in the Aboyne & Tarland area so we have put together a little trail for you to follow ☺️ Screenshot and save for September (or pick up a copy of the map in local venues). Hope to see you in September!

So grateful for painting in this time of life. Really enjoying the beautiful new adventure of being mummy to little B, but the moments of creativity while she sleeps are so restorative and so so needed. Also realising that having limited time does amazing things for my creativity and really enjoying seeing how my work is subtly changing in this new season. I’ve never been so grateful for painting, or as inspired as I am at the moment 💕

Just one week left to see the show! Saturday 1st August is the last day. It’s really worth a visit. I’ll be there this week, Thurs and Fri afternoon (plus baby 👶🏼) so come and say hi if you’re in either of those days!
