FIREWORKS ARE BACK ON!

Some very welcome news for the fireworks industry and everyone who loves fireworks!

The Government’s national alert warning against the use of fireworks is no longer in place, while the latest Fire Severity Index map is now showing much of the country returning to LOW fire risk.

🌧️ We’ve finally had some much-needed rain.
💧 Dew is beginning to form again overnight.
🌡️ Evenings are becoming cooler and increasingly autumnal.
📉 And fire risk is falling accordingly.

As we’ve said throughout the recent dry spell, fire risk is something professional display companies take extremely seriously. Conditions must always be assessed on an individual site basis and appropriate precautions put in place.

But risk should also be proportionate to the conditions that actually exist.

So, to venues, event organisers and anyone who postponed or reconsidered a professional display following the previous warning:

It’s time to start talking about fireworks again. 🎆

Autumn is approaching, conditions are changing rapidly and Britain’s professional fireworks industry is ready for what we do best.

After an incredibly difficult few weeks, we hope venues and organisers will respond just as quickly to the improving conditions as they did to the original warning.

Fireworks are not always what they look like from the ground.

A colourful display is not simply a matter of adding every shade available and hoping for the best.

Contrast matters. Spacing matters. Timing matters.

Used deliberately, colour can separate different sections of a show, change the mood and make particular effects stand out against everything around them.

The paint box is large. The trick is knowing when not to empty all of it at once. 🌈
