Welcome to the world of Bright Sparks Science, where we investigate, discover and entertain! Bright Sparks Science is a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) based in the South East of England, offering services in and around Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our objective is to make the science curriculum fun, inspiring, and accessible to all. We endeavour to provide a range of science activities that can

be experienced by every child. The main way we do this is to offer free science shows to schools, alongside the opportunity to run an after-school science club and low cost curriculum linked workshops. Our sister company, Bright Sparks Events Limited, offer exciting science activities outside of the school curriculum, in the form of themed holidays clubs and science birthday parties. During this time, we combine STEAM subjects with captivating humour to make weekends and school holidays entertaining for children. All our employees have a passion for science and believe that inspiring even a single child is something to be proud of. Bright Sparks Scientists work together to make sure every child has a unique and memorable experience and aim to encourage adults to get involved too. Our Instructors come from a range of backgrounds, from teachers, student teachers, university students, and scientists, through to actors, and drama students. These varied backgrounds provide our kit development team with the unique capability of combining their feedback to improve our customer’s experience with new ideas and technology as it appears. Our activities are designed to inspire an interest in science within the school or organisation, using a mixture of highly interactive demonstrations and hands-on programmes. Our range of engaging science activities include after school clubs, in school workshops, birthday parties and holiday camps which will bring science to life before your very eyes! Today we ran our first school workshop which was funded by The Didcot Powerhouse Fund

It went really well we had a lovely group of children. The next workshops funded by them around the Didcot schools will be in Autumn.

Like most of the world we have watched, wondered and enjoyed the Artimus Mission

Just as they are now back on earth we are back in the office on Monday after lots of brilliant Easter Holiday Camps

We aren't taking a rest though you will find us out and about ...
- Providing fabulous After-school Clubs and Assemblies
- Presenting two shows on Bank Holiday Monday
- Preparing for Half Term Camps
- Participating in Birthday Party by providing brilliant entertainment
