We are already 20% of the way towards our new boiler goal!! Thank you so much to anyone who's paid for an extra pint using our thermometer in the pub, or dropped some money in the Gofundme! We are pathetically grateful for your support as always.
Slight disclaimer however, the police have informed me that someone who donated to our original fundraiser when we started up 2 years ago... believes they are now somehow co owners of the business....👀 So, just for full clarity, if you do donate, while we are incredibly appreciative, it doesn't mean you can come round and steal our hot water or put the heating on while no one is home! 😂 Though you are welcome to come in and warm up any time if we're actually open. Back at The Mitre n we’re glad to have them. The Flying Spider Revival are a four piece from the South Wales Valleys bringing their own swaggering mix of punk, Americana, country, blues, soul and garage rock. The sort of music that sounds like it belongs in a sweaty pub ;)))

They’ve been knocking around the Welsh music scene for years, with a handful of albums and EPs under their belts, and if you’ve seen them here before you’ll already know what sort of nonsense is coming our way. Dirty riffs, gravelly vocals, cowboy s**t and plenty of attitude.

Tonight night we've got two original bands making a welcome return to The Mitre ;))

🤘 STICKLER
Grungy, riffy, alternative rock with grit and attitude. We've had these lads in before, so we already know they're not here f**k about. ;))

🔥 THE SHALLOW SOULS
Then a wee bit heavier .. South Wales veterans bringing their concoction of doom, stoner, psychedelic, progressive and classic heavy rock, with maaaahhooosive riffs, grooves and soaring vocals.
