The "Green Man" is deeply intertwined with the Summer Solstice in Pagan, Celtic, and folkloric traditions. Symbolizing rebirth, fertility, and the peak of nature's vitality, he represents the Oak King, who reaches the height of his power at midsummer before relinquishing it to the Holly King.
