✨ Recognising growth ✨

The tiger on the left was done in 2021, when I was still pretty new to tattooing and still learning so much about different techniques.
The leopard on the right was done today and putting them next to each other has made me realise just how much my work has changed over the years.

I’m still proud of the tattoo on the left, but I can see how much more confident I’ve become with my lines, stipple shading and just trusting myself as an artist in general. You don’t always notice your own progress when you’re doing this every day, so seeing it like this feels a little bit special!

Thank you for being a good friend! Crazy to think you started off as one of my clients and somehow tattooing brought us together! Friendship is one of the best things this job has given me! ✨

*I’d still need to add some small amounts of colour to the surrounding leaves and the eyes which will be done once healed **
