This is Ryker Young. On St David's Day, his mum and dad Cathy and Kyle want to thank the incredible team at the Grange Hospital neonatal intensive care unit who saved his life.

Ryker was born 11 weeks early on October 17 last year with three holes in his heart and Down Syndrome. He weighed just 2lbs 6oz.

For 12 weeks, doctors and nurses fought to keep Ryker alive and look after him. Cathy said they were "out of this world". "It's more than just a job to them, they really care about these babies as if they were their own," she said.

Ryker's now at home in Chepstow with his loving parents, who contacted us to ask if we'd post a message to thank the medics who saved his life.

To everyone at the Grange Hospital NICU. Happy St David's Day ❤️
