This week we're celebrating Frida Kalo as our inspirational artist of the week. There will be flowers garlands OF COURSE but we've pulled out other parts of her life, like how her and her husband collected statues and jewelry from Indigenous Mexican heretage. How she painted lying down for a part of her life, and the plants and architecture around her.

Tonight we celebrated our 1st year of making Art with the gorgeous souls of the community canteen, Abergavenny.

What could be better than...
-> beautiful food (cooked by the ladies of the Muslim community in Monmouthshire ❤️🙏),
-> great music by the Eastern European Trio 😃
-> good company!
-> and of course a bit of ART ART ART.

This crowd of humans raised £325 for our community arts workshop. We'll put it towards equipment and supplies! Thank you so much!

We are so aware how lucky we are to be based in a community like abergavenny, where people meet to do lovely stuff and support each other!

A great end to a giant week.

Happy Volunteer week Everyone!

A special thank you to our volunteers who help help look after the workshop, prep Art Classes/Events AND create beautiful moments of support and connection ❤️❤️

Today we were down the WIC Abergavenny creatively exploring mandalas.

We were reunited with one of our abstract journey paintings. We have 2 of these left! Dm if interested in purchasing original community artwork... Proceeds go towards new paint and workshop overheads! 🙏😃❤️

Thank you so much to for making us part of your event, and thank you to all the workers at the WIC - we've loved being part of your community. Good luck and see you all around soon! ❤️

A year since we opened.
Small businessing is tough, but we're scrappy, have sound goals and are on this journey with so so much support from our communities.

Wins :
Well over 1000 visitors.
We paid rent every month!
Celebrated birthdays, diversity and art.
Met so many gorgeous people.
Set up Summer and Easter schools.
Set up Nursery and after school arts.
Did so many adult events! 🤩❤️
Became a meeting place for creatives and doers.

You guys made
So.
Much.
Art.

Forever greatful to the people who support this endeavor to make art for everyone.

Huge appreciations to our partnerships 😃
An outpouring of love to our customers 😭👌..And an especially big hug to my family for taking the hit on having a little less for a while so that we can all ultimately have more.
