We’re so excited to officially confirm our Piano Orchestra South Wales tour to Normandy in 2027! 🇫🇷🎹

As well as performances, students will have the opportunity to explore Bayeux and Caen, visit the D-Day landing beaches, take part in workshops and enjoy an unforgettable few days making music together.

We are now welcoming new members for September into both our Junior and Senior Orchestras, with trial sessions available throughout June.

Who said orchestras are boring? 🎹
Our piano orchestras are full of energy, teamwork and a lot of laughter.
Students rehearse together each week, learning to listen, collaborate and create music as a group. Younger players are inspired by the older ones, friendships grow across ages, and everyone becomes part of something bigger than just a lesson.
Music. Teamwork. Creativity.
And occasionally… a megaphone.

🎹 A quick update from The Music Box

Just to reassure everyone — The Music Box lessons and piano orchestra rehearsals will continue as usual at our Gilwern studio.

As always, it’s a real team effort behind the scenes. Alongside my teaching, we’re lucky to have the support of wonderful musicians including the brilliant Martha Skilton, a fantastic musician and licensed music therapist who has been involved with a number of our projects.

We’re looking forward to a busy term ahead with:

• Piano Lab lessons
• Junior Piano Orchestra rehearsals
• Senior orchestra activities
• Orchestra work at Crickhowell Primary School
• Concerts and musical projects
• ✴️and some exciting new sessions coming soon✴️
